Spinney Yarns Ltd trading as tcboo.shop develops reusable products for sun loungers, deckchairs, hospitality seating, events, conferences and promotional applications.

The appearance of the tcboo band is protected through registered-design rights and a United States design patent. Tcboo’s branding, artwork, photographs, website content and other original materials may also be protected by trademark, copyright and other intellectual-property rights.

Registered Design & Design Patent Protection

The tcboo product design is protected through:

registered-design protection in the United Kingdom;
registered-design protection in the European Union;
United States Design Patent No. US D1,132,062 S, “Cover for Furniture”;
registered-design protection in Canada; and
an application for design protection in Turkey.

Protection in selected Caribbean territories and other commercially appropriate markets may be pursued as the business expands.

Registered-design and design-patent protection applies to the protected appearance of the product as shown in the relevant registrations. It does not necessarily protect every general product idea, function or method of use.

Some applications may remain confidential or unpublished until officially released by the relevant intellectual-property authority.

Intellectual Property Rights

Depending upon the relevant right and ownership arrangements, intellectual property connected with tcboo may be owned by Spinney Yarns Ltd, Jonetty Eco Yarns Ltd or another identified rights holder and used by tcboo.shop with appropriate authority.

Protected materials may include:

the tcboo name and branding;
registered and unregistered trademarks;
logos and visual identity;
registered product designs;
product artwork and layouts;
original graphics and illustrations;
product photography and videos;
website text and downloadable content;
marketing and promotional materials; and
bespoke design work produced for customers.

Unauthorised copying, reproduction, manufacture, adaptation, distribution or commercial use of protected tcboo intellectual property is prohibited without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

Licensing & Brand Collaborations

Spinney Yarns Ltd trading as tcboo.shop welcomes enquiries concerning licensing, authorised manufacturing, retail partnerships, promotional projects and commercial collaborations.

Potential sectors include:

cruise and hospitality;
tourism and leisure;
sporting events and sponsorship;
conferences and exhibitions;
weddings and event venues;
entertainment and character licensing;
promotional merchandise;
retail partnerships;
corporate promotions; and
venue and tourism partnerships.

Any licence, authorised-manufacturing arrangement, exclusivity agreement or other commercial partnership must be confirmed in a separate written agreement signed by the relevant parties.

No distributor, reseller, agent, manufacturer or other commercial partner may claim exclusivity, ownership, licensing rights or authority to represent tcboo.shop unless this has been expressly agreed in writing.

Customer-Supplied Artwork

Customers supplying names, logos, photographs, graphics, branding or other artwork must:

own the relevant rights; or
have permission from the legal rights holder to use and reproduce the material for the intended purpose.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that supplied content does not infringe:

copyright;
trademark rights;
patent rights;
registered or unregistered design rights;
image or personality rights; or
any other intellectual-property rights.

By supplying material, the customer gives Spinney Yarns Ltd permission to use, reproduce and adapt it only as reasonably necessary to prepare, manufacture and fulfil the relevant order.

The customer is responsible for reasonable losses, claims or costs resulting from material supplied without the necessary rights or permissions.

tcboo.shop may refuse, suspend or cancel an order where supplied content is reasonably believed to infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful, abusive or inappropriate material.

Copyright

Unless otherwise stated, original website text, photographs, graphics, product images, videos, artwork and downloadable content are protected by copyright.

Where owned by Spinney Yarns Ltd:

Content owned by another identified rights holder remains the property of that rights holder.

Nothing on this website gives permission to copy, reproduce, distribute, adapt or commercially exploit protected content unless permission has been expressly granted in writing.
