What’s New at tcboo: Our Website, Designs and What Comes Next

A great deal has been happening behind the scenes at tcboo. We have been improving our website, expanding the ways customers can order and making our product and manufacturing information clearer.

Here is a look at what we have been working on and what comes next.

A clearer and easier website

We have been rebuilding and reorganising our website to make it easier to discover tcboo, browse our collection and understand the different ordering options available.

The updated site includes clearer information about our standard collection, personalised products and services for businesses, brands, events and hospitality customers. In addition we have expanded our customer-service, product-care, legal and manufacturing information.

Before the rebuilt store becomes our main shopping site, we are checking its mobile performance, links, forms, payment methods, delivery options and review system.

More than 150 designs

Today the tcboo collection includes more than 150 designs, covering holidays, birthdays, weddings, cruises, retirement, national flags and many other themes.

A tcboo band helps secure and identify a towel on a suitable sun lounger, deck chair or other piece of furniture. It is lightweight and washable, so you can pack it away and reuse it across multiple holidays and occassions.

Meanwhile we continue to improve how we display the designs online. This includes clearer product names, descriptions, photographs and image information.

Personalised bands

Our personalised service allows customers to create something more individual for holidays, weddings, birthdays and other special occasions.

For example a personalised tcboo band can feature a name, message, date or suitable design. We are improving the personalised section of the website. As a result customers can now see examples and find the information they need before making an enquiry.

Business, branded and event orders

We are also developing tcboo for businesses, cruise companies, hotels, resorts, retailers, events and promotional programmes.

For example branded bands are available for product launches, guest gifts, competitions, conferences, weddings, sporting events and other occassions. For each project we can discuss design, quantities, production and packaging requirements.

Made in Britain using globally sourced materials

We developed tcboo band in Britain. Our Leicester production process covers knittin, dyeing, stentering, slitting, printing, cutting, sewing, finishing and packaging. We used globally sourced materials.

Our standard fabric contains 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This provides the stretch, recovery, print quality, washability and durability required for the product.

We believe responsible manufacturing starts with being clear about the product and how we make it. We also explain what we can realistically improve. Our new Sustainability & Ethics page explains our current materials, manufacturing, repeated-use approach and future development aims without relying on unsupported environmental claims.

What’s new at tcboo: what comes next

The final work includes checking the speed of the website on mobile devices, testing the review and customer-account systems and confirming that payments, emails and delivery connections operate correctly.

We are also preparing for the future by reviewing alternative materials, improved traceability and Digital Product Passport information.
