A great deal has been happening behind the scenes at tcboo. We are preparing a new website, reviewing our growing product range and building the systems needed to support the next stage of the business.
Our New Online Home
The new WordPress and WooCommerce website is being developed on tcboo.co.uk before it is transferred to tcboo.shop, which will remain the main online home of tcboo.
This rebuild will give us greater control over product information, stock management, payments, delivery options and future development. It also allows us to provide clearer information about the product, its manufacture, our registered design protection and the different ways tcboo bands can be used.
More Than 150 Designs and Growing
At the time of writing, the tcboo collection includes more than 150 designs, with new ideas continuing to be developed.
The range includes colourful patterns, holiday themes, family designs, national designs and bands created for different interests and occasions.
Not every design will necessarily be available immediately when the new shop launches. Products will be added as stock is checked, photographs and descriptions are reviewed and the relevant product information is completed.
Made and Packed in Leicester
The tcboo band was developed using more than three decades of textile and manufacturing experience.
The fabric is cut, printed and sewn in Leicester. Finished bands are made and packed in Leicester—not imported as finished products.
Each band is made from stretch fabric of the type used for swimwear. At 22 cm wide, it fits around the towel and sun lounger backrest to help prevent the towel from blowing away or slipping down the lounger.
International Delivery
We are gradually extending international delivery country by country.
This approach allows us to check delivery charges, customs requirements and the information customers need before ordering. Available delivery destinations and charges will be shown through the website checkout as each country is introduced.
Online Personalisation Planned for 2027
We are also developing an online personalisation service planned for 2027.
The proposed service will allow customers to create a design using a fixed tcboo template, upload and position their artwork without stretching or distorting it, preview the front and back of the finished band and approve the design before ordering.
Further information will be added to the Personalised section of the website as development progresses.
What Comes Next
Our immediate priority is completing the new WooCommerce shop, checking stock levels and product information and testing the complete ordering, payment and delivery process.
Once these checks are complete on tcboo.co.uk, the rebuilt website will be transferred to tcboo.shop.
We will continue sharing progress, new designs and product developments as tcboo moves into its next stage.
